Across Dartmoor this morning, in the rain then sunshine to Lyme Regis on the coast in Dorset. The moors were great,rocky outcrops, stone crosses and bridges, thatched cottages, highland cattle and rainbows. We hit the coast at Sidmouth and I took my shirt off and lay in the sun on the beach. We took the honeymoon suite in the “penthouse” in an old pub, The Rock Point Inn, on the foreshore in Lyme Regis. Orange pebbles make up the beach and pastel coloured beach boxes line the promenade. Sherborne tomorrow.
